Everything you need to know for a smooth and comfortable hospital experience
This guide will help you prepare for your visit, understand our processes, and know what to expect during your stay at PMSH.
All patients may proceed to the ER to be assessed and referred to the admitting section.
Step 1
The patient will be assessed by our resident on duty or ER consultant to determine if he/she is admissible.
Step 2
The ER secretary will interview the patient's relative and ask if he/she has health insurance. If yes, the secretary will call the specific health insurance hotline for approval and verification.
Step 3
The ER staff/secretary will inform the patient to proceed to the admitting office to seek or ask for a room covered by his/her health insurance.
Children below 7 years old are discouraged from visiting patients, to protect them from hospital-acquired infections.
Visiting hours shall be strictly implemented as follows:
This is a non-smoking institution. Smoking is strictly prohibited within hospital premises.
Liquor, other intoxicating drinks, and prohibited drugs are not allowed inside.
All bags and packages are subject to inspection by security personnel before and after entering the hospital premises.

Observe cleanliness. Discard waste materials in designated trash cans. Garbage segregation is strictly implemented, and toilets/lavatories should not be used for waste disposal.
Food deliveries from outside establishments may be allowed but are not delivered directly to the patient's room — instead, they are deposited and picked up at the lobby.
Vehicles parked in the hospital parking area must be properly locked and secured. The institution is not liable for any losses or damages.
Patient's meals are served by dietary personnel. Trays, plates, and soup bowls must stay in the room and will be collected afterward on a scheduled basis.
Keep your valuables secured and safe. The institution is not held liable for the loss of personal belongings, though strict security measures are in place at all times.
All personnel are in uniform and wear IDs at all times. Please report any suspicious-looking person you notice during your stay.
Please help ensure silence and order by encouraging visitors to observe visiting hours, to allow patients to rest and have their privacy respected.
For your personal safety, please familiarize yourself with the fire exit near you. A fire exit floor plan is provided visibly in each room.
We encourage you to fill out our evaluation forms prior to discharge — your comments and suggestions will be kept confidential.
